It had been sunny ALL week, high of about 75 every day… it was nice, really nice. Friday rolls around and it’s cloudy, raining on and off ALL day. We had talked about this session for months now and Joyce and her family were in town… please don’t rain! Well, thankfully, the rain held off and I headed over to Nannie’s house (where we shot their session). Joyce is my 3rd cousin. Unfortunately, we don’t see each other as often as I’d like. I was very excited to see them all again and they were all very excited to see Nannie’s farm. Yes, THE Nannie, the one who just turned 90 and now lives with us :) Anywho, Joyce spent a lot of time over at Nannie’s when she was growing up- so the property has a significant meaning in her life. I was so excited for her to relive those memories and for her kids and husband to be able to experience that!
Now, to say their session was an adventure would be an understatement. We had a blast though… we jumped over creeks, trailed through the woods, stomped over mud clumps, and walked through the pasture! My boots weren’t too excited about it but it was a lot of fun!! It was so great getting the opportunity to catch up and hang out! Oh yeah, and did I mention they have the most ADORABLE kids ever?! Yeah… they do…

Will is a little sweetheart & so much fun… he was cracking me up with his funny faces he kept making!
