I always love when couples bring new ideas to the table. Christina and Alex were super creative with their ideas! First, we started at the Donovan Hotel where Alex proposed to Christina. I think it’s really important for couples to choose a location that is meaningful to them. I know I say it all the time but it’s so true! I loved hearing the story but it was so much more special actually being there! They decided it would only be fitting to photograph the second portion of their session in their beautiful DC home since they love spending time together cuddling and just being with one another. I LOVED this idea as soon as Christina told me. I’ve never photographed anything like it and I’m so happy I had the opportunity to do it. This was definitely one of the most romantic & sweet engagement sessions I’ve ever photographed. It was such a special experience for me! Christina and Alex are so incredibly sweet and I am over the moon excited to shoot their DC wedding in June!
