Kaylah + HarrisonA sweet country session in the rain

It was one of those meetings you just don’t want to leave. Kaylah and Harrison are seriously so much fun! They are so cute together and just being with them makes you all giddy inside. I have been looking forward to their engagement session since they booked it. We met at Harrison’s family farm which worked for their style and suited their personalities perfectly. I LOVE shooting on farms and in rural locations. There is something so magical and special about those images. There isn’t a lot of fuss or much going on… just nature at it’s best. You can focus on the couple and their love for one another without getting caught up in what’s going on in the background.

It had been raining all day and it looked as though we were going to have to reschedule again. Kaylah and Harrison were total troopers and wanted to do the session regardless. I brought two umbrellas just to be on the safe side. I’m not going to lie, I was pretty worried on the way there, it was POURING but the closer I got, the better the weather looked. It was still raining when we began and the skies were very dark, the ground was wet and these two were all smiles. Kaylah and Harrison were a hoot and kept me laughing during the entire session! They are SO much fun! They are so awesome and trusting… they were even willing to stand in a completely soggy, drenched field (in her white dress and adorable blue cowboy boots) just to get the image I was after! I am so excited to shoot Kaylah’s bridals and their wedding this September!!!!
