As a wedding photographer obviously I attend a lot of weddings. There are so many different styles, looks, themes, schemes, you get where I’m going with this… Part of the reason I love my job so much is because even though I’m always shooting weddings, they are always so different. Each wedding reflects the personality of that particular couple. A lot of times, I can pretty much tell what a wedding will be like before it actually happens. I ALWAYS recommend my brides get a Pinterest. It’s a serious MUST when it comes to planning a wedding! I love following their pin boards and learning more about their personality and interests. It’s also a great way for me to see their wedding ideas! Like I said, I can pretty much tell whether it’s going to be a country chic kind of wedding, or an over the top/glamourous kind of wedding or any type, just by their pins. I love being a part of the process! And I LOVE getting to know my couples. After Tyler and Ben booked me for their wedding and I started following her on Pinterest… I started to see a pattern. Beautiful rustic barns, interesting table scapes filled with character and charm, super classic touches here and there… and a little sparkle to top it all off. Just by her pins, I knew we had a TON in common. And their venue…. oh gracious, it’s GORGEOUS! They will be married this October at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville. I couldn’t be more excited, I know it’s going to be spectacular!
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to FINALLY meet these two! Ok seriously, they couldn’t be more awesome! I had such a blast with them. We began their engagement session on the lawn of UVA. We walked around the campus and shot for a little while before heading to their second location, Jefferson Vineyards. You want to talk about something gorgeous?! Go visit a vineyard at the base of a mountain…. I’m pretty sure that’s as beautiful as it gets. Add in an awesome couple and we are talking LOTS of pictures. Just prepare yourself for an overload of them…. Anywho, I feel so lucky to work with Tyler and Ben! Like seriously, I love you guys! We are going to have so much fun- I can’t wait!!
