Sarah + BrianA pretty pink & tiffany blue spring wedding

Oh Sarah & Brian! These two adorable love birds are finally married :) I honestly couldn’t love Sarah a speck more. She and I have had a bond since we first met. She feels like a friend I’ve had for years, I am so lucky she contacted me! Brian is nothing short of the sweetest guy you’ve ever seen. Seriously! The way he looks at Sarah, or when he randomly kisses her on her forehead, pulls her in just a little tighter, and the smile on his face when they are together… the love is evident. I couldn’t be more excited for these two. This has been SUCH an incredible experience for me! And really, who couldn’t stare at pictures of these two all day. You may recall Sarah’s bridal portraits at Tuckahoe Plantation I posted Monday or the film shoot I did with her. Um, yeah… she’s drop. dead. gorgeous… If you haven’t checked them out, you should!

Sarah and Brian were married this past Saturday in a beautiful church in Richmond, VA and their reception was located at the fabulous Hunting Hawk golf club. The weather, the dress, the family, the adorable handmade details, the bride & groom… everything was absolutely perfect. I loved everything about it! Their colors were a pale pink and Tiffany blue (and a teeny bit of gold, which we all know I loved!) with accents of pearls and lace. Almost all of Sarah’s details were handmade. She even made the DIY table numbers I posted on one of my bridal bliss posts :) I am pretty sure I took WAY too many pictures but I promise I couldn’t help it. At the end of the reception, they did something really special. Instead of having a traditional exit of the bride and groom, they sent off miniature hot air balloons into the sky in memory of Sarah’s grandmother. I found my self getting emotional as I photographed everyone working together and Sarah & her grandfather embracing, watching as the lanterns floated into the sky. Since I haven’t shot a wedding since March, it felt like I was starting the wedding season all over. What a wonderful way for me to get back into the groove of things.

Best of you luck to you, Sarah & Brian! I love you guys and I hope you are having the best time in Jamaica!!!!!
