Jones Family

They’re baaaaaack! It’s one of my favorite couples, Jessie & Richard (and now, sweet little Nolan)! I met Jessie years ago at the YMCA in Ashland. We would be sure to pick a treadmill so we could be next to each other so we could catch up. We would laugh, gossip and chit chat about all the latest in our love life and everything else! I remember when she would talk about Richard and how one day they would get married… well, last year they did. And it was one of the most amazing weddings I’ve ever been a part of. They probably look very familiar to you! I photographed their engagement session, maternity session, newborn session, Jessie’s bridal portraits and their wedding! So there pretty faces are all over the blog and my Facebook page! Now it’s such a delight to photograph their adorable, perfect, little family :) They are so much fun to work with- easy going, super willing to try new things, they are just awesome all around! It definitely helps that we are friends but they are really just so awesome!! One thing I really love about their shoots… if they ever made and album or keepsake from any of their sessions or wedding, the images would all work together. It’s like a story! From the engagement session all the way to their most recent family session they have all been in the same type of location with the same type of “feel.” They stay true to themselves and their lives. They live in the country and they love the country. So naturally, their photos were all taken in that environment. Their wedding had adorable southern styled details and at every session they dress to fit the part. Not that they are trying to fit a part but you know what I mean, right?! Anyway… what happens then is, when you display your photos in your home weather its prints or a canvas or even make an album- your photos will always look cohesive and tell a story. It’s so important to stay true to yourself! Choosing outfits and locations that reflect who you are as a couple or a family will always be the best fit. Your images will never go out of style because they tell a story of YOU!

Back to the story! Ok, so we began the session in a field nearby their Montpelier home. We had so much fun laughing and playing with Nolan. It is so crazy how much he’s grown since the wedding! We strolled all around looking for good spots and catching up along the way. I had so much fun! I am so excited to share these images with all of you! And Jessie and Richard, I just love you guys! Thank you for giving me this opportunity :) xoxo!!!
