As you may have learned by now, I have a slight obsession with my cat. I’m sure you’ve seen his picture plastered across my Facebook, instagram and everywhere else. I am an animal lover, always have been. But it wasn’t until a few years ago that I started to really love cats. We always had dogs growing up so I just wasn’t used to them. After moving into our new home, I adopted Miss Kitty. I’m planning to write a full post on her sometime in the near future but she was the start of it all. Two years ago, while house sitting, I found my precious Theodore. If you’d like to hear more about Theo and the incredible story of how he came to be my baby I wrote a LONG blogpost titled, The Tale of Theodore. He is my little miracle.
I’m sure a lot of people find it to be incredibly odd that I love my cat so much but I really can’t help it, I am who I am. I miss him when I’m gone, I show people his picture like he’s my child, he comes up in conversation often. He is my baby. I love that cat!
Well today signifies the day I found Theodore. I don’t know his actual birthday since I found him buried in leaves, ice cold, holding onto life with a string… but today is the day I made him mine. It has been a blessing having him in my life. He brings so much joy to me and my family. He has the BEST personality of any animal I know!! I am so lucky to have him. So happy birthday my precious little king, Theodore!

This morning when I woke up I was so excited to tell him Happy Birthday. He was all snuggled up in his bed, nice and cozy. And as you can see from the picture, he wasn’t completely thrilled with the idea I had of posing him in a dining room chair with a stuffed crown on his head. But hey, he looks cute doesn’t he!?!
