I’d really like to know how on earth it’s Monday already? And October… what in the world? Is it just me, or is this year just FLYING by?! Although my life seems like such a whirlwind, I’ve been having so much fun shooting engagement sessions and weddings!
On August 10th, the day before my birthday, I met with Erin and her Mama at Panera. They were just as sweet as they could be and I felt like we hit it off instantly! I loved all of their ideas, and loved hearing all about Erin and Michael… how they met, how he proposed… all the good stuff! I fell in love with them and knew we were a perfect fit for each other. Her wedding was planned exactly one year from the day we met and the day she booked… I thought that was really neat. So next August 10th I’ll be celebrating with these two awesome people :) I couldn’t be more excited!
She told me all about her parent’s house in Reedville, VA and it sounded like the PERFECT place for an engagement session, and it was! Their gorgeous home is right on the water. They have a beautifully landscaped yard with a small beach, a hammock, a dock, beachy grasses, you name it… it was just perfect!
I had a blast with these two and their doggy Jessie and the family dog, Chef! The way Erin & Michael interact and the way they look at each other is like something you’d see in a movie! They made my job so easy! They were so trusting and didn’t question me once when I asked them to stand in the woods near all kinds of pokey stuff… (those pictures ended up being some of my faves!) And I just LOVED the doggies!! Jessie & Chef were the cutest and had so much fun posing and running around. I am such an animal lover so I always encourage my couples to bring along their pets if they are a significant part of their life! Dogs just make life all that much better right? Plus they are cute! It’s a win-win if you ask me!
I am so excited to have had the opportunity to work with these two and I am looking so forward to next August!!!
